About Ocean Ears
Ocean Ears Noosa is a business born out of a passion for creativity and a love for the environment. 14 year old Liv creates stunning, resin earrings from micro plastics polluting Noosa's beautiful beaches. Ocean Ears started when Liv and her family were walking their dog, Barkley and couldn't help but notice the significant amount of micro plastics, scattered across the beach. Liv decided to make use of the colourful plastics and turn them into earrings. By supporting Ocean Ears, you are not only supporting a small business but you are helping to keep our beaches clean!
Sustainability
Ocean Ears is an eco-friendly business that cares about sustainability and our planet. Noosa is home to sea turtles, dolphins, whales, rays and other marine life which makes Noosa worth protecting and keeping clean. There is an estimated 75 to 199 million tons of plastic waste currently in our oceans, with a further 33 billion pounds of plastic entering the marine environment every single year. Ocean Ears mission is to clean our beaches, one earring at a time. By wearing Ocean Ears, you are advocating for change and a cleaner society!
